Girls For a Change

The following is a post sponsored by Yahoo! Every time someone clicks here to make Yahoo! their homepage, they're showing their support for Girls For A Change.

I was selected for this opportunity by Clever Girls Collective, which endorses Blog With Integrity, as I do.

Since my divorce, I have tried really hard to make a difference in the lives of people I love.  It may be something as simple as picking up the phone just to check in, leaving a little message on a Facebook page or offering to take someones kid for a few hours.
I have learned that it is the little things that count.  Just telling someone you are thinking of them can make someones day.  It doesn't take that much effort and no money but it really can make a difference.

Some of my besties at Clever Girls have connected with Yahoo! to help out this amazing non-profit called Girls For A Change (GFC). At the bottom of this post, I will tell you how you can help this amazing group.

GFC is a national organization that emowers girls to create social change.  They invite young women to design, lead, fund and implement social change projects that tackle issues girls face in their own neighborhoods.  GFC empowers girls for personal and social transformation.  The program inspires girls to have the voice, ability and problem solving capacity to speak up, be decision makers, create visionary change and realize their full potential.

Here's How You Can Help

For each person who clicks here to make Yahoo! their homepage by July 1st, Yahoo! will donate $10 to Girls For A Change up to $10,000!!!

You have to click on the link in order to make your change count but it is really that easy, requires no money and can actually make a difference in someones life.
